The Au Gourmet hotel and restaurant offers a haven of peace and tranquillity, tucked back from the road.
As soon as you step through the doors, you'll be greeted by an inviting and pared-back interior, in which the whiteness of the walls and the gently billowing sheer drapes contrasts delightfully with the navy-blue carpeted floors. The dining room is bright and welcoming with its round tables and ornate wooden panelling, but it is the kitchen that really takes centre stage.
The chef and his brigade are true artists, creating dishes as if they were putting on a play... Then it's time for our waiters and waitresses to take to the stage, with a smile on their faces, as they welcome and advise guests, ever attentive to their needs.
Two passionate individuals at your service
Ludovic Kientz, former chef of the Crocodile in Strasbourg, worked alongside 3-star Michelin chef Émile Jung for several years.
Equipped with a CAP and a BP vocational diploma in cookery, over the years, Ludovic has occupied almost every position in the kitchen, preparing sauces, fish, meat, pastries and much more besides. In doing so he has acquired a taste for a job well done and a desire to work with only the very finest ingredients.
For her part, Sandie began her career in the food industry. As the daughter of a Chinese caterer, she spent her childhood going to markets and talking to local producers with her father. So, when she felt the urge to go back to school, it seemed only natural that she should choose a catering college to study for a sommelier diploma.

Ludovic Kientz and Sandie Ling bought the former Auberge du Gourmet in Drusenheim at the end of 2018.
Ever since, they have poured all their time and energy into this hotel and restaurant.
